Main argument
While contemporary liberals, such as Rawls and Dworkin, agree that the suffrage of women should be protected, women are still disadvantaged in both workplace and family, largely due to the sex stereotype. Hence, feminist, normally being called radical feminists of the 1960s and 1970s argued that, since the family was at the root of women’s oppression, it must be “smashed.”
